About The Position

Seeking a passionate and dedicated Academic Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Desert Valley Hospital/Medical Group. This role combines patient care with the rewarding opportunity to educate and mentor the next generation of physicians. The position is employed by Desert Valley Medical Group, a multi-specialty group affiliated with Desert Valley Hospital. It is a Day Shift Hospitalist role with an Academic opportunity, working with Internal Medicine residents and serving as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. The role involves rounding with residents, and potentially covering some shifts as Primary Care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM) plus one weekend a month. Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Valid California medical license or ability to obtain one
• Strong commitment to resident education and academic excellence
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• Preferably okay doing procedures.
• Must be also okay covering some shifts as Primary Care.

Responsibilities
