About The Position

The AC Installer installs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in new-construction residential homes in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry codes and standards, and company requirements. The role includes installing ductwork, HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans; maintaining installation quality and safety; preparing operational reports; keeping job-related knowledge and skills current; and communicating with other personnel about project details. The installer must be willing to operate a company vehicle and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes.
• Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Skilled in using hand tools, testing equipment, and safely installing new and replacement parts.
• Must possess hand tools and power tools to perform job duties.
• Self-motivated and driven to complete work promptly and to the best of their ability.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
• Physical dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 to 100 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Install ductwork in residential new-construction homes.
• Install HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans in new residential construction homes.
• Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.
• Maintain safety standards at all times.
• Prepare operational reports.
• Update job-related knowledge or skills.
• Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.
• Operate a company vehicle when required.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Complete assigned tasks within the company’s standard timeframe.
