About The Position
This role involves overseeing aircraft maintenance visits or modifications, managing work schedules, and supervising project coordinators. The position requires reporting and invoice review, as well as performing spot checks of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities. The individual will also be responsible for other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Airframe and powerplant license
- Ten years of experience in a heavy maintenance environment on Boeing 767 or equivalent aircraft
- Two years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Self-motivated, competent in problem solving skills and analytical ability
- Ability to use independent judgment, provide/suggest solutions and handle unusual situations in a professional manner
- Excellent working knowledge of all aspects of transport category aircraft maintenance
- Valid state issued driver’s license
- Computer skills, specifically in the use of MS office products
- Frequent travel for MRO site visits – monthly
Nice To Haves
- College degree in Aviation
- Previous maintenance rep or project coordinator experience
- Previous Maintenix program experience
