Requirements

5 or more years in a B2B marketing strategy or ABX/ABM role, with at least 2 years in an agency or client services environment where you owned and delivered work to external stakeholders.
Deep, demonstrable ABM/ABX expertise, grounded in foundational ABM principles and applied through real campaign work, including B2B buying group theory translated into practical targeting and messaging decisions, not just conceptual frameworks.
Experience building and activating audience segments using first, second, and third-party data, including behavioral, demographic, and intent-based targeting approaches.
Demonstrable knowledge of B2B buying group theory and the ability to translate it into practical targeting and messaging decisions, not just conceptual frameworks.
Proven experience planning and executing paid digital campaigns across search, display, social and video with a sound understanding of how each channel contributes across the buyer’s journey.
Working knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including DSPs, ad exchanges, private marketplace deals, as well as native, contextual and connected tv ads formats
Ability to define campaign KPIs, set up conversion tracking, and build performance reporting frameworks that connect channel activity to business outcomes.
Experience designing and evaluating A/B and multivariate tests, with the ability to translate findings into actionable optimization recommendations.
Strong written communication. This role produces strategy documents, briefs, and reports. The ability to write clearly, precisely, and without jargon is not negotiable.

Nice To Haves

Enterprise-scale B2B experience — particularly industrial or long-cycle sectors with large buying committees and regionally distributed GTM teams — and/or agency-side exposure, including managing multiple client accounts or programs concurrently, is a plus.
Prior exposure to sales development programs and the handoff model from marketing-qualified accounts to outbound sales sequences.
Hands-on tool fluency across Adtech/Martech platforms is a plus (e.g., Demandbase, 6sense, Salesforce CRM, Marketo, Salesforce Engage, The Trade Desk, Meta/LinkedIn Campaign Managers, Google Ads).
Enterprise-scale B2B experience and/or agency-side exposure

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain quarterly ABX strategies for assigned accounts, covering account prioritization, buying group mapping, signal interpretation, and 90-day activation planning.
Analyze intent data, CRM pipeline signals, website engagement, and channel performance to identify in-market accounts and surface activation priorities for the media and sales development teams.
Define buying group structures within target accounts, identifying functional roles, seniority levels, engagement gaps, and progression indicators across the purchase journey.
Build customer journey frameworks that define how messaging, channel selection, and activation intensity should shift as accounts move from awareness through to active pipeline.
Plan and guide the execution of integrated channel campaigns (search, display, video, paid social, email, CTV & trade publications) ensuring each channel is deployed appropriately across the buyer’s journey and contributes to overall program goals.
Brief and oversee display advertising activity across the Google Display Network and comparable platforms, directing creative specifications, audience targeting, and frequency management.
Identify and activate audience segments using first, second, and third-party data sources, applying behavioral, demographic, and intent-based targeting to match messaging to the right accounts at the right time.
Contribute to quarterly media plan development and placements, providing audience targeting specifications, account list inputs, creative rotation guidance, frequency parameters and channel weighting recommendations.
Define campaign KPIs, oversee conversion tracking implementation, and maintain performance reporting frameworks that connect channel activity to pipeline and business outcomes.
Design and evaluate (in collaboration with the media team) A/B and multivariate tests across creative, audience, and messaging variables, translating findings into structured optimization recommendations covering audience adjustments, channel rebalancing, creative rotation decisions, and messaging refinements designed to improve progression rates at each stage of the funnel.
Conduct regular reviews of account engagement data to assess buying group coverage, targeting accuracy, and campaign performance across active accounts, identifying where activation priorities should shift.
Monitor account-level pipeline data to identify stalled accounts and develop re-engagement strategies that address conversion barriers specific to buying group role or stage.
Contribute to monthly performance reports covering channel KPIs, buying group progression, and pipeline influence data across your accounts.
Present strategy findings and performance updates to client stakeholders as part of the agreed review cadence, with clarity on what the data means and what should change as a result.
