About The Position

This is a temp-to-hire position for an Abrasive Blaster working the swing shift. The role requires an individual to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. The job involves preparing items for processing, selecting appropriate media, completing paperwork, ensuring proper PPE and safety guidelines are followed, maintaining a clean work area, and disposing of hazardous waste correctly. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to ITAR regulations
• 1+ year of experience
• Vision (Near, Distance)
• Sense of Sound - Able to hear average audio range
• Sense of Touch
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Nice To Haves

• Experience as Abrasive Blast Technician
• Experience as Aerospace Abrasive Blast Operator
• Experience as Sandblasting Operator

Responsibilities

• Determine priority of jobs to begin preparing for processing
• Select appropriate media according to specifications and customer requirements
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
• Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed
• Maintain a clean working area at all times by disposing of any unnecessary trash
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly
• Other duties as assigned
