About The Position

Witco is currently seeking an Ability One Project Manager to supervise the operation of the Official Mail Services at the Mountain Home Air Force Base. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely mail delivery, serving as the FSO for the Secure Mailroom contract, and improving contract efficiency through task analysis and workflow optimization. The position also requires participating in recruiting and hiring staff, ensuring staff receive necessary training, and maintaining a quality control system. The Project Manager will perform contract work as needed, participate in inspections and contract review meetings, and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders including the Air Force, Versability, and SourceAmerica. This job is located at the Air Force Base in Mountain Home, Idaho. Candidates must qualify for and maintain a Secret Security Level Clearance for Secure Mail Delivery on a Military Base. Requirements

  • Must qualify for Secret Security Level Clearance for Secure Mail Delivery on a Military Base.
  • Must maintain Secret Security Clearance credential at all times while employed.
  • Must complete and obtain clearance for Criminal History, with fingerprinting, employment references, pre-hire drug screen, and Military Base Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of the Official Mail Center (OMC) at the Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB) ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all mail to/from the MHAFB.
  • Serve as FSO for the Secure Mailroom contract on behalf of Witco.
  • Establish task analysis, workflow and work methods and, on a regular basis, review for necessary changes improving contract efficiency.
  • Participate in recruiting and hiring staff resulting in high staff retention.
  • Ensure that staff receive all required safety and security trainings and certifications.
  • Establish and maintain a written system of quality control.
  • Perform contract work and fill in for Production Workers as necessary.
  • Participate in inspections and/or contract review meetings.
  • Maintain working relationships with the Air Force, Versability(PrimeContractor), SourcceAmerica and all Air Force and other contract personnel.
