About The Position

Licensed Behavior Analyst Professional Services (LBAPS) is seeking a compassionate and motivated ABA Paraprofessional / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to join their team. This role involves providing transformative ABA services to an 8-year-old child in Mount Vernon, NY. It is an opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and wish to make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience working with children preferred
• RBT Certification preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual is a plus
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to pass required background screenings

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one ABA therapy services
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills
• Collect data and document session progress
• Collaborate with caregivers and the clinical team
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
