About The Position

The General Manager leads the restaurant’s Management team and oversees all operations to deliver a great Guest experience and achieve business results. The role includes managing budgets and costs, maintaining operational and quality standards, developing Team Members, and fostering communication and engagement. Managers are expected to model Chili’s hospitality-focused culture, take their work seriously while having fun, and build relationships with Guests and the local community. Chili’s is a casual dining company founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1975. Responsibilities

Lead and direct the Management team’s work, including scheduling, assigning responsibilities, and setting expectations.
Manage Management team performance through evaluations, coaching, and accountability.
Plan and implement weekly, monthly, and yearly financial budgets.
Oversee restaurant operations to ensure a great Guest experience.
Model operational and quality standards and hold Team Members accountable to them.
Foster open communication between Team Members and the Management team.
Influence Team Member behaviors by championing change and restaurant initiatives.
Drive business results by using Chili’s systems to control costs effectively.
Follow operational systems, including the Manager Timeline, and perform quality Line Checks.
Hire, train, retain, and develop Team Members for larger roles.
Drive Guest engagement in the restaurant and develop relationships within the community.
Understand and practice safe food handling procedures.
Communicate and embody Chili’s culture and Cultural Beliefs: Every Guest Counts, Food Perfection, Be Accountable, and Play Restaurant.
