About The Position

Arches ABA Therapy in Covington, LA is seeking passionate individuals to join their dynamic team as ABA Behavior Technicians. This role focuses on impacting the lives of children aged 2-6, providing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy in a professional, supportive, and fun environment. The company is fully accredited by the Behavioral Health Center for Excellence (BHCOE) and is committed to providing clinical staff with respect and resources to deliver high-quality therapy. Requirements

  • Experience working with children between the ages of 2 yrs - 6 yrs is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess and provide written proof of at least a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or HiSET).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is always preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board (LBAB) registered line technician certification (to be reimbursed at the completion of training).
  • Must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification within 6 months of hire (1st test paid by employer).
  • Obtain and maintain certifications for CPR and BLS (to be paid by employer upon hire).
  • Possess a valid (not expired) driver's license and provide proof of auto insurance.
  • Demonstrate passion and patience for working with young children.
  • Exhibit strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to lift and carry clients.
  • Must be able to sit on the floor and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to maintain a variety of stances (stand, kneel, crawl, squat) for an extended time.
  • Must be able to run for short distances.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must demonstrate manual dexterity to type, use electronic devices, and manipulate small items such as toys.
  • Must have the visual acuity to read and comprehend written and electronic communication.

Benefits

  • $16.50 - $18.00 per hour pay range.
  • Up to 10 days PTO, with a jump to 15 days upon 4 years of employment.
