Arches ABA Therapy in Covington, LA, is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to join their dynamic team focused on early intervention for children aged 2-6. Requirements

  • Must possess and provide written proof of at least a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or HiSET)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board (LBAB) registered line technician certification (to be reimbursed at the completion of training)
  • Must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification within 6 months of hire (1st test paid by employer)
  • Obtain and maintain certifications for CPR and BLS (to be paid by employer upon hire)
  • Possess a valid (not expired) driver's license and provide proof of auto insurance
  • Demonstrate passion and patience for working with young children
  • Exhibit strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to lift and carry clients
  • Must be able to sit on the floor and stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to maintain a variety of stances (stand, kneel, crawl, squat) for an extended time
  • Must be able to run for short distances
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must demonstrate manual dexterity to type, use electronic devices, and manipulate small items such as toys
  • Must have the visual acuity to read and comprehend written and electronic communication

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children between the ages of 2 yrs - 6 yrs
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field
