About The Position

As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children and young teens with autism to help them build essential life skills, bringing patience, creativity, and joy to sessions in the clinic, home, or community. No prior experience is required as paid training is provided to qualify you as a Behavior Technician, building skills and confidence for a rewarding career.

Requirements

  • Must have availability between 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, Monday through Friday (with one Saturday per month).
  • Be comfortable potentially working in-home and community settings.
  • Be comfortable working with technology, such as Google Workspace.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and actively engage in play and movement.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Ability to pass a background check and TB test.
  • Valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Must have reliable transportation to support timely arrival to scheduled client sessions, including travel between clinic and community locations as required.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience working with children, particularly in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or within the education field.
  • RBT certification or coursework in psychology, education, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing individualized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Using positive reinforcement and play-based teaching to help children learn new skills.
  • Collecting and tracking progress data with care and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with your supervisor and team to support each child’s goals.
  • Building trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and teammates.
  • Completing session notes and other administrative tasks on time.
