About The Position

Breeze Airways is hiring a Ground Instructor for its First Officer Pathway Program. Current Certified Flight Instructors provide ground-based instruction for new hires and recurrent ground training for pilots in the Airbus fleet. Instruction covers all training categories, including indoc, ground school, and recurrent training classes. Instructors teach at the Breeze Training Academy an average of 10 days per month, leaving time to continue building flight hours as a CFI when not scheduled at the academy. The role requires an 18-month commitment. Three months before completing that commitment, instructors in good standing receive a guaranteed interview for an A220 First Officer position. If successful, an ATP CTP and A220 training class date will be assigned after the instructor reaches R-ATP or ATP minimums and completes the 18-month commitment. The position includes developing and delivering classroom instruction, maintaining training materials and records, coordinating training, and ensuring course content meets regulatory requirements. The Ground Instructor is also expected to uphold Breeze’s values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
