About The Position

The A/V Programmer serves as a quality checkpoint between the staging area and the installation site. The programmer collaborates with project teams, including programmers and project managers, and provides timely solutions to challenges arising during commissioning. The work includes handling equipment in the warehouse; unpacking and repacking equipment for testing and configuration; loading firmware, code, DSP files, and other hardware configurations; recording hardware information and settings; and setting up, testing, troubleshooting, updating, and retesting systems to meet customer requirements. The role also investigates issues with vendors or internal resources, processes vendor RMAs, backs up final code and system documentation, communicates project status and lessons learned to internal stakeholders, and helps ensure installation teams receive complete equipment packages. The position also assists with staging-area cleanliness, organization, and consumables stock.
