About The Position

HD Fowler Company is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist, who will be responsible for compiling and processing A/P records at our Corporate Offices in Bellevue, Washington. Requirements

• Previous experience in accounting/accounts payable.
• 10-key by touch
• Computer skills, high accuracy, and an eye for detail.
• Able to operate within and prioritize under tight deadlines.
• Able to interact positively with all types of coworkers and customers.
• Able to operate in a high-paced, demanding environment under a variety of conditions.
• Able to work overtime when necessary and/or required.
• Able to self-guide work prioritization and completion; work independently with little direct supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Basic accounting/bookkeeping educational courses and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Approve, code and process invoices for payment, cost freight, and issue sales orders.
• Code and process overhead invoices.
• Process credit memos and issue debit memos.
• Credit and debit cost adjustment to inventory and sales.
• Balance statements and research payment issues.
• Resolve vendor and buyer inquiries and/or discrepancies as they arise.
• Maintain a strong relation with internal buyers and external vendors.
• Assisting in processing weekly check runs.
• Responsible for vendor account maintenance and collection of return credits.
