About The Position

A&P Mechanic is a certified professional responsible for maintaining aircraft airframes and powerplants. They ensure that all aircraft systems, including engines, hydraulics, avionics, and structural components meet FAA safety and regulatory standards. Performs routine, preventive and scheduled maintenance and repairs on Cessna Caravan 208B aircraft. This role is critical for safe and efficient aviation operations, often requiring collaboration with pilots, engineers, and maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical and avionics circuits using common test equipment, sheet metal experience helpful. Turboprop experience helpful, must be able to utilize sketches, shop aids, and other measuring devices such as micrometer and calipers. Experience with power hand tools needed. Computer knowledge a plus, maybe working with solvents and polishing compounds. This position involves heavy lifting and standing up to 8 hours daily, must be available for overtime when needed, self-starter, work independently, and ability to work in various conditions, including hangers or field locations. Must be open to travel and possible overnight stays when needed.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License is required.
  • Must provide own aircraft hand tools
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and Department of Justice and Criminal History background screening.
  • Valid California Driver's License with a clear DMV report
