About The Position

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, inspections, installations, operational checks, and return-to-service activities in accordance with FAA regulations, approved technical data, company procedures, and customer requirements. This position supports aircraft modification and connectivity programs, including onboard Wi-Fi and avionics system installations, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
  • Experience performing aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and system installations.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, STC packages, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPS), Fault Isolation Manuals (FIM), work instructions, or other approved technical data.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Level 3: 7+ years of aircraft maintenance experience and demonstrated leadership ability, including mentoring technicians, coordinating work activities, and supporting project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rigging, adjustment, and operational checks of aircraft doors and related systems.
  • Conduct conformity inspections and functional testing of onboard Wi-Fi systems and associated avionics equipment.
  • Verify installation integrity of aircraft systems, components, wiring, software configurations, and antenna assemblies.
  • Ensure all modifications and installations conform to approved engineering data, STC requirements, maintenance manuals, and applicable FAA regulations.
  • Perform inspections, operational checks, troubleshooting, and corrective actions as required.
  • Review and verify maintenance documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Interpret and utilize Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC), Fault Isolation Manuals (FIM), engineering drawings, STC packages, and other approved technical data.
  • Document maintenance activities and support return-to-service requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety procedures, quality standards, and tool control requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with inspectors, avionics technicians, structures mechanics, and engineering personnel to ensure successful project completion.
  • Other duties as assigned.
