About The Position

We are currently seeking a detailed-oriented Architecture & Design Sales Representative to grow our business in Toronto and the GTA. The focus of this role will be to establish and foster relationships within the Architecture & Design community. Success in this role will be measured by indirect sales growth driven by selection and specification of Divine Branded products.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Office – all main applications Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Must maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Familiar with basic computer systems, file structures and operations
  • Superior customer service
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Able to work independently and part of a team
  • Demonstrated professionalism and integrity while consistently acting in an ethical and fair manner
  • Sales experience with carpet, tile and hardwood flooring
  • Valid Driver’s license and willing to travel within Ontario

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the flooring industry is a strong asset
  • Post-secondary education is preferred, but will be considered in conjunction with proven experience

Responsibilities

  • Possess knowledge of the Divine product line and pricing with the ability to demonstrate technical understanding of the products
  • Conduct presentations to small and large groups within the A&D community
  • Follow sales from presentation to completion
  • Track product development through its life cycle & staying current on new product information and specifications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Divine’s customers
  • Build a network of referrals to create new sales opportunities
  • Able to competitively benchmark products
  • Assist clients in the showroom by providing product knowledge and pricing
  • Prepare and submit sales activity reports as requested or required by Management
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and attitude at all times
  • Assist and work with Showroom Administrator/Manager
