About The Position

The Aon Pooled Employer Plan (Aon PEP) is a fast-growing 401(k) solution delivering high quality, lower risk, and lower costs to employers and their participants. This role involves bringing new clients on board. This is a virtual role with the flexibility to work from home or from any local Aon office in the US. The Implementation Manager owns projects such as converting clients’ existing 401(k) plans into the Aon PEP, coordinating automated payroll integrations, and managing mergers and batch rollovers of 401(k) assets. In this role, you will expand your knowledge of 401(k) plan design, administration, compliance, and procedures, while working directly with clients and third-party vendors as a project manager and resource. You will enjoy working with a broad range of people, both within Aon and externally with partners, clients, and their service providers. Through project-based work, you will develop a broad skill set, gain exposure to other areas of Aon, and experience the satisfaction of completing several projects per year. As the main client contact during the implementation phase, you will earn clients’ appreciation for our consulting-focused service and white glove approach. Requirements

  • Ability to own and take responsibility for multi-month and multi-workstream projects
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable and effective speaking with clients and vendors
  • Works well within a team environment
  • Flexibility to handle shifting deadlines
  • Resourceful, strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • General understanding of 401(k) plan design, administration, and compliance
  • Basic to moderate knowledge of Excel specific to working with census data
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Convert clients’ existing 401(k) plans into the Aon PEP
  • Coordinate automated payroll integrations as clients change providers
  • Manage mergers and batch rollovers of 401(k) assets related to acquisitions and other client transactions
  • Expand knowledge of 401(k) plan design, administration, compliance, and procedures
  • Work directly with clients and third-party vendors, serving as a project manager and resource
