About The Position

The 3rd Key manages the store when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent, including opening and closing procedures and administrative tasks. The role supports store management in sales, operations, merchandising, training, security, and maintaining company standards. The position also requires standing for long periods during a shift and lifting between 15 and 30 pounds.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, including opening and closing procedures and administrative tasks.
Execute floor set guides and promotions on time and in compliance with requirements.
Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding established store and individual goals.
Assist store management with communicating operational goals and directives to maximize the team's contribution to the sales plan.
Set up sales and promotions with proper signage in a timely manner.
Assist in maintaining merchandise presentation according to visual merchandising standards and current floor sets.
Assist with training and enforcing security policies and procedures.
Help ensure associate safety by identifying dangerous situations and reporting them to the Store or District Manager.
Properly process register functions and ensure they are followed as directed.
Help ensure the store meets company cleanliness standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Assist with communicating changes in store policies and procedures to staff and ensure the changes are implemented correctly.
