About The Position

Responsible for leading a team of employees in all aspects of material handling for the staging and processing of shipments. Prioritizing sales orders, pick slips, auditing, and loading of trucks or containers. Maintaining accurate inventory locations and counts throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
Basic Computer Skills: Barcode scanner.

Nice To Haves

6 months or more experience working in shipping or receiving (preferred).
Forklift Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Fueling Systems Quality System.
Follow detailed work instructions, processes, and procedures.
Report problems with safety, quality, process, equipment, and materials to Materials Supervisor or Distribution Manager.
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
Operates a powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload and load trucks.
Communicates and coordinates task priorities with employees.
Assists in the training of new employees.
Pulls and stages orders for shipment to customers.
Fills and transacts work orders and sales orders.
Performs cycle counts.
Performs quality checks on stock items to report defects or damage.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
