About The Position

The 2nd Shift Supervisor leads day-to-day operations in designated production departments in Canton, Ohio. The supervisor works toward objectives assigned by the Operations Manager, coordinates production priorities with Department Leads, tracks priority jobs, and maintains workflow schedules. The role also guides and coaches employees, monitors productivity, ensures adherence to safety guidelines and company standards, handles material requisitions, conducts annual evaluations, tracks attendance in ADP, and administers disciplinary actions.

The position is onsite and scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It is classified as exempt and reports to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations in designated departments.
• Work toward daily objectives assigned by the Operations Manager.
• Collaborate with Department Leads regarding production priorities.
• Monitor the progress and status of jobs on the priorities list.
• Maintain workflow schedules.
• Guide and coach employees and monitor their productivity.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
• Submit material requisitions to the supervisor for current and future production.
• Conduct annual employee evaluations.
• Enter and track employee attendance in ADP.
• Administer disciplinary actions.
