About The Position

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of YellaWood brand pressure-treated pine, is seeking a Plant Supervisor for its second shift, Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The position directs production and distribution operations for a plant shift, including managing production personnel, production performance, and employee safety. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

Requirements

• Associate's degree and two years of related supervisory experience and/or training in the wood treating or lumber industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping of products according to company policies, principles, and procedures established by the Plant Manager.
• Ensure employee safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies, including OSHA and EPA.
• Oversee housekeeping of plant facilities and equipment during shift operations.
• Maintain positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies and regulations.
