About The Position

Support the Store Manager in executing responsibilities that deliver an exceptional employee and guest experience and drive profitable top-line sales growth at Yankee Candle’s Evergreen Walk store. The role contributes to team development and performance, guest service and sales, store presentation, operational execution, inventory management, expense control, safety, and loss prevention.

Requirements

High school completion or equivalent GED.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in retail software and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical skills.
Solution-oriented.
Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience in a retail management role is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in building a high-performing team that reflects Newell Brand Values.

Implement selling strategies, coach selling behaviors, and maximize the Guest Sales Leader role to increase sales potential.
Drive guest loyalty through the Rewards Loyalty program, KPIs, Best Guest communication, and Grass Roots Marketing; build lasting customer relationships.
Maintain store appearance by executing visual standards, plan-o-grams, planning, visual maintenance, signage, and cleanliness.
Assist in analyzing the business and creating action plans for effective operational execution.
Help identify root causes and create action plans that drive results.
Ensure clear team communication and alignment.
Support inventory management and expense control.
Incorporate safety and loss prevention into daily activities and follow company policies and Code of Ethics.
Achieve or exceed KPI goals through strategic planning, effective execution, and continuous performance improvement.
