The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell. This intern will focus on advancing Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives by supporting the implementation of the Hubbell Manufacturing System (HMS) and contributing to Building 1 Steel Department's HMS Bronze Certification efforts. Responsibilities include analyzing operational data, conducting process assessments, facilitating kaizen events, supporting 5S and visual management programs, maintaining standard work documentation, and tracking certification-related action items. The intern will also assist with continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and waste reduction, while supporting the P&P and Utility Riser departments in sustaining and advancing HMS practices toward Silver Certification. Through these efforts, the intern will help drive measurable operational improvements and gain hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing and manufacturing system deployment.
