About The Position

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell. This intern will focus on supporting packaging engineering and sourcing initiatives by assisting with packaging optimization, testing, supplier evaluations, sustainability programs, and cost-reduction projects that improve packaging performance, transportation efficiency, and product protection across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027), pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (Packaging Engineering) (required)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Coursework, project, or internship experience in packaging design, testing, CAD tools, data analysis, sustainability, or manufacturing/supply chain environments preferred.
  • Interest in packaging optimization, strategic sourcing, and continuous improvement highly preferred.

  • Managing multiple projects with overlapping tasks and working independently with minimal supervision.

Benefits

  • Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour.
