About The Position

Sanofi is seeking a highly motivated Spring Co-op to join its Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team in Swiftwater, Pennsylvania. The six-month co-op offers mentoring and guidance while contributing to work that supports healthcare and the company’s HSE programs. The co-op is onsite and requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the full duration. Candidates must be able to relocate to the office location and remain enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the co-op.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Safety, Health, and Environmental Sciences or a related field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the co-op.
• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for the full duration of the co-op.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs and training.
• Conduct safety inspections, hazard evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Implement HSE cultural and behavioral programs.
• Participate in process design reviews and industrial hygiene assessments.
• Update chemical inventories.
• Investigate safety risk reports.
