Intake Specialist, Fulton Community Reentry Center

Osborne Association IncNew York, NY
Onsite

About The Position

The Osborne Association serves individuals, families, and communities affected by the criminal justice system, offering opportunities for healing, restoration, and thriving. The organization challenges systems rooted in racism and retribution, advocating for policies that promote safety, justice, and liberation. Guided by core values, Osborne honors capacity for change, celebrates shared humanity, and pursues justice and equity with fierce determination. The Fulton Community Reentry Center (Fulton), Osborne's first transitional housing and reentry program, provides 140 beds for formerly incarcerated men who would otherwise be homeless. The full-time Intake Specialist at Fulton Community Reentry Center serves as the primary contact for individuals seeking services, responsible for screening, assessing, and admitting participants into programs. This role also ensures eligible clients are connected to critical public benefits like TANF, SNAP, SSI, and Medicaid, working collaboratively with internal staff, referral sources, and external agencies to ensure timely admissions, benefit enrollment, and continuity of care for participants, especially those impacted by substance use and the criminal justice system.
