Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Security & Experience Clerk (2 Positions) at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following: • Demonstrate the behaviours and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach. • Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels. • Inspect and patrol premises regularly including entrances and parking area. • Responsible for investigating and acting as security agents for area Team Leaders and guests. • Address any infractions or incidents and report to appropriate Team Leader and Asset Protection. • Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage and resolve conflict, ensure a safe and welcoming environment. • Answer Radio and investigate disturbances as need by department. • Keep daily logs of activities addressed. • Alert authorities in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. • Circulate among visitors, patrons regularly to protect order and enforce trespassing to all uninvited persons. • Respond to shoplifting notifications appropriately and monitor other forms of internal and external loss. • Cart service, general cleaning and site and image maintenance. • Member service and customer care as assigned. • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. Who You Are: You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service: • You have your high school diploma or equivalent and are 19 years of age or older: Experience as a security guard and with customer service would be an asset. • You have knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety. • You have or a willing to obtain CPR or First Aid training. • You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do. • You are highly organized and productive, able to work with minimal supervision. • You have a strong focus on teamwork and relationship-building, with respect for diverse perspectives. • You have outstanding interpersonal and communication and conflict resolution skills. • You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements, standing, walking, performing regular heavy lifting, working inside and outside. • You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
