About The Position

Requirements

• CDL Class A (tractor-trailer) or CDL Class B (straight truck) license
• Must have and maintain medical card
• Acceptable driving record and required endorsements
• Over 3 months up to and including 6 months verifiable work experience
• Meet all DOT federal regulations
• Clean driving record
• Working knowledge and experience in examining vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed
• Willing to train the right applicant, CDL is still required

Responsibilities

• Operate rear discharge concrete mixer
• Maintain concrete mixer properly to maximize production and quality
• Gather, collate or classify information about data, people or things
• Report and/or carry out a prescribed action in relation to the information
• Attend to work assignment instructions or orders of supervisor
• Start, stop, control and adjust the actions of machines or equipment for which a course must be steered, or which must be guided to control the movement of things or people for a variety of purposes
• Observe gauges and dials, estimate distances and determine speed and direction of other objects, turn cranks and wheels and push or pull gear lifts or levels
• Examine vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed
• Read maps and have extensive knowledge of the local area
