About The Position

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our School-Based Mental Health Services team at North Education Center. School-based mental health services reach children in everyday environments. The natural, non-stigmatizing location offers an early and effective environment for intervention. This also allows for increased opportunity for coordination of care with the therapist having access to children in their school sites with school team. This increases access for busy families and reducing variables that may have prevented individuals from receiving care. The role involves developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with children, parents, and other family members, conducting individual therapy and, as needed, conducting family and group therapies, and creating and implementing treatment plans and regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans.
