About The Position
Are you looking for a long-term, fast paced environment to be a part of? Well look no further! We are an established group practice in West Hills, California looking for someone dynamic to join our team of Medical Assistants. We have a fast-paced family environment that focuses on doing the right thing for the right reasons for our patients!
Requirements
- 5 days a week M-F
Nice To Haves
- BLS / CPR Certification
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Previous experience in Cardiology
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office apps
Responsibilities
- Page and communicate clearly with physicians
- Team player, punctual attendance, and strong work ethic
- Assist with appointment confirmations (if applicable) and responds to patient inquiries
- Prepare and clean patient exam rooms
- Assist with Protime clinic, pacemakers, and other testing
- Place, track, receive, and report on holter monitors and event monitors
- Strong ability to obtain vitals, manual blood pressure, medication reconciliation, perform EKG’s, stress tests hook up, and more
- Input patient information into the EHR system
