About The Position
We are a relationship-driven, high-performing mortgage team committed to delivering a concierge-level experience to clients and Realtor partners. We are hiring a Licensed Loan Officer Assistant (LP2) to work directly alongside our leadership team and Team Captain. Requirements
- Active NMLS license
- 3+ years in mortgage processing, underwriting, LOA, or origination
- Strong knowledge of agency guidelines and major LOS platforms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Saturday availability when offers are being written
- Occasional after-hours pre-approval letters
Responsibilities
- Handle 5 to 10 closings per month
- Manage 15 to 20 active files
- Accurately pre-approve borrowers
- Structure loans using DU/DO, LP, and investor guidelines
- Identify issues early and provide solutions
- 5 calls to pre-approved buyers
- 5 calls to Realtors
- 5 follow-ups with new leads
- Perform daily pipeline reviews
- Deliver consistent updates
- Resolve issues before escalation
- Take full responsibility for your loans from contract to close
