About The Position
WATER SLIDE-ACTIVITIES ATTENDANT Come join our FUN TEAM! Spend your day helping guests have fun in the sun on our BRAND NEW water slide! Be available to assist in coordination, set-up, break-down and facilitation of guests’ activities and work in our Piper's Place selling snowcones. Greet all guests in a cheerful and courteous manner and provide attentive and cordial service at all times. Position requires lifeguard certification.
Requirements
- Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated and energetic to maintain excitement with the guests.
- Must have excellent guest service and problem resolution skills.
- Lifeguard certification required
- Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift
- Must be able to bend, kneel, and stoop
- Must be able to move/lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work in outside (hot), inclement weather conditions for full shift
Responsibilities
- Assist/supervise guests using the water slide.
- Help plan, set up/break-down and facilitate guest activities to include arts and crafts, games, dancing, etc.
- Interact with guests to maintain fun, energetic and safe events.
- Assist in Piper's Place selling snowcones.
- Provide information on Beach Club services and special events as needed.
- Use problem resolution skills to insure guest needs are met.
- Greet and offer assistance to guests in a courteous manner.
- Maintain work and activities area in a clean, neat manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
