About The Position
The Front Desk Agent at the Hampton Inn Hershey Near the Park will be responsible for providing superior guest services, including check-in and check-out procedures, processing payments, and offering information and services in a friendly and professional manner. This role requires adherence to hotel requirements, payment policies, and the ability to generate daily reports. The agent will also resolve discrepancies with housekeeping and handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction. The position offers a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year customer service experience.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities
- Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
- Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
- Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
- Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
- Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently; process all payments according to established hotel requirements; Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
