About The Position

Requirements

• Current District of Columbia CNA license with Board of Nursing
• Current CPR license
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to relate information concerning the residents’ health.
• Must meet general health requirements.
• Must be able to carry, push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
• Must have personal integrity, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Forest Hills of DC residents with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing, locomotion, feeding) in accordance with individualized care plan.
• Assist Forest Hills residents in Assisted Living/Memory Care with daily living activities, such as light housekeeping, meal prep, and engaging interactions. Every task contributes to their happiness, all while following their individualized care plans.
• Assist resident in meeting their personal care needs and provided individualized attention while encouraging resident involvement in self-care.
