About The Position
OhioHealth at Home, in partnership with Compassus, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support Occupational Therapists (OTs) in delivering exceptional patient care. This role focuses on achieving therapy goals and monitoring patient progress. The position utilizes AI-supported tools to assist with documentation, allowing for more quality patient interaction, reduced after-hours documentation, and enhanced efficiency through technology-driven workflows. The goal is to provide patient-centered care with a reduced documentation burden and improved work-life balance.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
- Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment.
- Required within 30 days of hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
- Assist with therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
- Use AI technology to ensure clear and accurate documentation of sessions.
- Reduce administrative workloads and focus more on hands-on care.
