About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Pass a DOT drug screen and obtain and retain a DOT physical card.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Adhere to safety protocols and properly use company-approved personal protective equipment, including respirators when required; respirator users must meet applicable fit-test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk cement safely and on time to the proper work site and ready-mix plants.
• Work as a team member with site management and co-workers.
• Load and unload cement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain the appearance of the truck.
• Monitor tire air pressure and perform minor truck maintenance and repairs.
• Follow safety, compliance, environmental, and DOT requirements.
• Communicate, improve, and adhere to safety, health, and environmental policies, and promote a culture of safety.
