About The Position

Join the award-winning team at Botanist as an Expeditor, where you will play a key role in delivering a seamless and elevated dining experience. Acting as the vital link between Culinary and Front of House, you will ensure every dish meets the highest standards of quality, timing, and presentation in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or luxury hotel environment preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with both Culinary and Front of House teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for presentation and quality
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and efficient under pressure
  • Strong sense of urgency and time management
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences
  • Serving It Right certification
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the seamless flow of dishes between the kitchen and service team, ensuring timely and elegant delivery
  • Act as the key communication link between Culinary and Front of House, supporting a smooth and synchronized service
  • Review all dishes for accuracy, presentation, and quality, ensuring they meet Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star standards before leaving the pass
  • Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders to maintain an exceptional pace of service during high-volume periods
  • Ensure all plates are garnished, polished, and presented to Botanist’s elevated dining standards
  • Communicate clearly with Chefs and service team regarding delays, modifications, VIP guests, and special requests
  • Support large parties, tasting menus, and special dining experiences with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pass area at all times
  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Other duties assigned
