About The Position

Cordillera Equestrian Center is seeking a hard-working and engaging individual for a barn hand position. Our Equestrian Center is located on 300 acres of land in Boerne's Hill Country. Currently we have 24 horses, but we are still growing. We cater to Cordillera Ranch members and their guests. The barn offers boarding, English and western horseback riding lessons, guided trail rides, kids' horse camps, parties, riding clinics, and social events. This is a full-time position feeding and providing daily care for the horses, barn upkeep, exercising horses, possibly teaching lessons, and giving guided trail rides throughout the property. For lessons, we serve a wide range of riders- beginners, experienced, children, adults, English, western, pleasure, jumping, etc.

Requirements

  • Horse experience
  • Knowledgeable and experienced individuals able to mend fences
  • Perform barn maintenance
  • Know their way around a working horse ranch
