This role is responsible for organizing and maintaining the placement of vehicles within a designated zone or move area according to established standards. The Zone Administrator II will utilize daily information from the Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to make informed decisions regarding vehicle staging. This position plays a key role in continuous improvement efforts focused on safety and the efficient movement of vehicles. The administrator will move vehicles, stage them safely in their proper work destinations, and confirm their operational status, engaging service or tow trucks for inoperable vehicles. Additionally, they will label vehicles for sale and routing, communicate inventory status and priorities with crew leaders and managers, and serve as a role model for Cox/Manheim values, safety commitments, and company policies. The role may require overtime as business needs dictate.
