Youth Sports Instructor

About The Position
The Youth Sports Instructor teaches basic sports skills to young children ages 3–5 and helps keep them engaged through energetic instruction and smooth transitions. The part-time role includes maintaining program records, creating sports-specific activities and drills, refereeing, and scorekeeping. Weekend and evening availability is required. Pay is $11.30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- Prior experience working with children ages 3–5.
- Knowledge of various sports and how to teach each at a very basic level.
- Ability to maintain young children's interest by planning ahead and moving quickly during transitions.
- High energy and initiative.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records for various sports programs.
- Develop sports-specific activities and drills.
- Referee and keep score.
