About The Position

We are seeking passionate individuals looking to work with children ages 2-8 years old in an energetic and fun environment. We hold our sessions in park districts, schools, and daycares across Will County through Saturday. We especially need someone with summer and fall availability during the morning on Tuesdays and from 3:00 pm to 7:15 pm on Thursdays. Other hours are also available. We offer flexible scheduling and paid training to ensure we get the best of the best to join our team. Working with children is something we don’t take lightly, and it’s imperative that you not only enjoy working with children but are incredibly passionate about it. We are in this to impact children in such a way that we leave a lasting impression on them that will give them the confidence to be successful both on and off the field. Requirements

Fall availability required.
Consistent availability (minimum changes during an 8-week season).
Responsible: ability to arrive on time, handle groups, communicate effectively.
Professional: clean appearance, kind and approachable.
Proven experience engaging and leading young children.
Comfortable being goofy and imaginative with young children.
Must pass a background check.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have access to the internet daily with phone/computer.

Nice To Haves

Soccer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Engage and lead young children in soccer sessions.
Handle groups of 5-10 children.
Communicate effectively with Soccer Shots leaders.
Maintain a clean appearance and be approachable for parents and site directors/staff.
Complete comprehensive training program to receive certification.
Utilize developmentally appropriate techniques.
Undergo ongoing training and evaluations.
Positively impact children and leave a lasting impression.
