About The Position

ACTIVSTARS is hiring a Youth Soccer Coach to teach soccer basics to students ages 5–15 in the Dallas/Arlington area. The program runs only on Saturdays, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning in September 2026, with training beforehand. Coaches must be available during the Saturday program hours and attend a couple of brief evening meetings each semester about upcoming events. Coaches are also paid to participate in a weekend soccer tournament each season, held on Saturday and Sunday as applicable, where their teams compete against other teams.

Paid training covers teaching guidelines and record-keeping, and includes assisting an experienced coach to observe how classes are conducted. ACTIVSTARS has specialized in youth programs in communities across the country for 40 years, emphasizing fun while learning. Pay structure is reviewed with applicants during the interview.

Requirements

• Extensive soccer experience.
• Enjoy coaching and working with children ages 5–15.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no schedule conflicts during those hours.
• Attend a couple of brief evening meetings each semester.

Nice To Haves

• Experience coaching and teaching children is a plus.

Responsibilities
