About The Position

Amazing Athletes of Greater Atlanta is seeking coaches for its Multi-Sport and Martial Arts enrichment programs. Coaches may teach multi-sport classes, martial arts classes, or both. Ready-made curricula and paid training are provided. New coaches can work 10–25 classes per week and earn up to $36 per hour, based on experience and performance. Classes are held in preschools and day-care centers, elementary schools, parks, and recreation centers. Coaches travel to class locations centered in Suwanee, Georgia, and surrounding cities. The role offers a flexible schedule, bonus programs, professional development opportunities, and a pathway to full-time employment or business ownership, subject to availability and performance.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a Georgia comprehensive background check with fingerprinting.
• Must be available to start and train immediately for a few hours each week.
• Must desire a long-term commitment to develop within the company.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with youth and/or preschool-age children.
• Passion for sports and fitness.
• Background in fitness, athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, or a related area.
• First Aid Certification.
• Coaching experience with young children.
• Ideally live within 30 minutes of the center of the territory in Suwanee, Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare in advance to teach classes and arrive early.
• Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, directors, and children.
• Coach classes with fun, organization, and structure.
• Be outgoing and engage every child in every class.
• Use individual attention to help every child succeed.
• Use a non-competitive approach to keep classes fun and stress-free.
• Use positive reinforcement to encourage improvement and celebrate success.
• Follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual and Curriculum.
• Remain open-minded and receptive to feedback, and strive to improve.
