Frontier Behavioral Health (FBH) is a non-profit organization with over 100 years of experience serving the Spokane community. They offer evidence-based treatment for behavioral health issues to adults, youth, and seniors. As a Trauma-Informed Care Organization, FBH believes in recovery and helping clients lead fulfilling lives. The Children, Youth, and Family Mobile Crisis Team operates 24/7, 365 days a year, providing crisis services to children and youth. This specialized team offers rapid response, assessment, crisis intervention, supportive counseling, resource linkage, and coordination of community services. The Youth Peer Support Specialist is a key member of this mobile team, working in homes, hospitals, schools, and other community locations to provide stabilization during crises. The role focuses on child-centered care, utilizing the youth's strengths and cultural heritage to prevent hospitalization, incarceration, or out-of-home placement. The specialist will maintain communication with team members and other staff to ensure high-quality services.
