Michigan State University (MSU) seeks a collaborative and highly organized Youth Engagement Specialist to support the Health Equity Research for Action (HERA) Coordinating Center, a national initiative funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The HERA Coordinating Center supports research that advances health equity through community-centered, action-oriented, and systems-level approaches. The position will work closely with the Center Directors, Director of Community Engagement, and the MSU HERA Community Advisory Board to increase participation among young adults ages 18-24; recruit and maintain a diverse pool of community and youth reviewers; and coordinate reviewer training, communications, review activities, and compensation. The position will also support the onboarding and ongoing participation of National Advisory Committee members and serve as a liaison with youth-focused organizations.
