About The Position

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 18 months to 8 years old. We provide an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building and fun themes to help coaches teach young children the wonderful sport of soccer. Our goal is simple: To leave a lasting, positive impact on every child, and family, we serve! This is a part-time role where coaches lead 30–45 minute sessions at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. Coaches will travel within a 30–40 minute radius for coaching assignments. The role involves laughter, physical activity, and making a difference in children's lives.

Requirements

Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle that is insured.
Availability during weekday mornings (8:30 AM – 12:45 PM), weekday afternoons (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM - summer season limited), weekday evenings (4:45 PM – 7:00 PM), and weekend mornings (8:30 AM – 12:45 PM).
Reliable and consistent coach who enjoys teaching fun, themed soccer sessions within a structured 8–10-week seasonal schedule.
Punctual and Consistent.

Nice To Haves

Prior soccer experience is not required, however experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred.
Coaching at least 2 complete seasons is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead 30–45 minute soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years old.
Travel to various sites including preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers within a 30–40 minute radius.
Implement an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building, and fun themes.
Make a lasting, positive impact on every child and family served.
