About The Position
This summer, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County are looking for energetic and flexible individuals to serve as Summer Youth Development Professionals (YDP). This temporary position focuses on creating a memorable summer for children through engaging activities, outdoor adventures, and creative projects. The role involves building relationships with youth, leading activities, and fostering a safe, supportive, and exciting environment. While not always easy, the position is described as rewarding, with the opportunity to make a lasting impact. Training will be provided.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Strong energy and patience.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to stay positive in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy being active.
- Ability to think on your feet.
- Genuine interest in working with youth.

- Flexibility.
