About The Position

The Youth Community Ambassador is a community-facing role focused primarily on outreach, youth engagement, and program support for PrEP4Teens. The Ambassador helps expand the reach of PrEP4Teens programming by building relationships with teens, schools, youth-serving organizations, and prevention partners throughout the Chicago area. This role supports community outreach, youth engagement activities, and program logistics while assisting with the implementation of youth workshops and creative programming. The Youth Community Ambassador works closely with the PrEP4Teens Program Coordinator and outreach team and does not lead programming independently. While the Ambassador works under the direction of the Program Coordinator and does not independently own program strategy, we are looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and creativity to the role. The ideal candidate will contribute ideas, help identify outreach opportunities, and actively support relationship-building with youth, schools, community organizations, and prevention partners. The PrEP4Teens program primarily serves teens ages 13-18 through youth cohorts, workshops, and community outreach events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, connecting with community organizations, and supporting youth-centered programming focused on sexual health, HIV prevention, empowerment, and creative expression.
