Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Demonstrate to criteria while maintaining current in CPR and nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained during pre-service training required.

Responsibilities

Teaching skills and monitoring youth behavior
Creating a safe and positive living environment
Supporting youth academic success and personal development
Transporting youth to appointments, school, and activities
Assists with intake and departure documentation
Observes and participates in mediation and planning conferences with youth and their families.
Serves as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.
Physically and emotionally able to manage stressful situations
Work indoors with some outdoor activities and occasional interruptions
